Dr Raoul Denny, B.VSc
Principal Veterinarian
Raoul graduated from The University of Sydney in 1989 and worked in mixed rural practice before working in the United Kingdom for 2 years in small animal practice. He started at North Randwick Veterinary Clinic in February 1997 and became the owner in September 1999. His veterinary interests focus on all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. Raoul is married to Jane and they have three children: William, Charlotte and Juliette. They own a little hairy Cairn Terrier named Dougal. Raoul's other interests include rugby & golf.


Dr Jason Bembrick, B.VSc
Associate Veterinarian  
Jason graduated from The University of Sydney in 2000 and worked in a farm animal practice before travelling to the UK. He worked there for four years, initially as a farm animal vet before moving onto small animal practice.
Jason started at North Randwick Veterinary Clinic in 2007. Jason enjoys the diversity of first-opinion small animal practice. He is a Waratahs & Wallabies fan who enjoys a game of golf on the weekends.
Jason’s wife, Sarah, is also a practicing vet and they live together in the eastern suburbs with their Burmese cats - Cuba & Jamaica.
 


 
Bree Poole
Veterinary Nurse
Bree completed her Advanced Veterinary Nursing Certificate in 1998. Since then she worked with the NSW Animal Welfare League, nursing and looking after abandoned animals for 4 years, before heading to the Sutherland Shire to work in a private practice for 3 years. Bree started working with us in July 2007, and lives in Botany with her husband Matt.
They are owned by 2 cats by the names of Tia and Milo! Tia a Burmese, which came in as a stray to her former clinic, and Milo who was a kitten she hand reared in January 2007.


 
 
Karen Hamer
Veterinary Nurse
Karen has been in the industry since 2002 and is an indispensible part of the team. She completed her Veterinary Nursing Certificate IV in 2006. You will invariably meet her if you visit the clinic and will no doubt be impressed by her calm and helpful demeanor and her warmth towards animals. She is very attached (sometimes literally!) to her pet lorikeet Barry, her cat Checkers and her collection of Siamese fighting fish. Karen is interested in breeding her fish, sports, drawing, music & books.
