Nurse Helen is our qualified senior veterinary nurse and she has over 25 years experience. Helen handles both surgical and outpatient nursing duties and ensures all pets are well cared for whilst at our practice. Helen has three four-legged family members "Jess" the ridgeback cross, "Salli" the German Shepherd & "Harvie James" the howling feline!
Alyce Murphy
Veterinary Nurse
Nurse Alyce also handles both surgical and outpatient nursing and is in charge of our many preventative health care programs including the SlimFit program and Senior Pet Club as well as keeping clients informed with regular newsletters and updates on our websites and Facebook page.
Her beautiful old black lab "Rags" and exuberant young "Zeeli" keep her fit and entertained at home!

Snips N Dips Groomer
Amanda is our senior groomer for Snips N Dips Pet Pampering Parlour and she ensures all the dogs & cats that visit her are completely pampered and looking their best. Amanda is also a dog show judge and involved in showing her own dogs including "Floyd" the Petit Basett Griffon Vendeen
Kelpie & Billy
Officially known as Kelpie the Wonderdog and Billy the Kid, they are the resident Frisbee-chasers!
Kelpie has been by Dr Leisa’s side in vet clinics since she was 6 weeks old, some 15 years.
Billy is Kelpie’s 13 year old son and for many years went to work on the farm with Jodie but now happily lounges around the clinic during the day.

Our team is headed by Veterinarian Dr Leisa Denaro BVSc.
Dr Leisa believes that pets are valued family members. She believes that having a practice with a team of qualified, experienced and caring staff that are like-minded in their beliefs in responsible pet ownership and quality preventative health care is very important so she set about surrounding herself with great people who make up the team.
Dr Leisa is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association, the Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association, The Unusual & Exotic Pet Group, and the Australian Veterinary Practice Management Association.
Her two “children”, Kelpie & Billy can usually be seen around the practice.

Nurse Teneille has 10 years experience and is also a qualified Veterinary Nurse. You will see Teneille on Tuesdays and her friendly personality and efficiency ensures all our clients receive great service and professional advice. Teneille’s four legged pals are Tye, the 5 year old Staffy and Missie the 6 year old German Shepherd cross.

Mr Jodie Denaro
You will meet Jodie taking on Saturday nurse/reception duties. He also keeps the place looking neat and tidy and well maintained. Jodie is married to Dr Leisa & they are both active members of the Nambour & District Chamber of Commerce.
Billy is a very happy kelpie dog when his favourite Dad is at work with him on Saturdays

Claude is the resident over-seer. You will see him draped over the reception counter ensuring things are done correctly!
Claude was brought in to Dr Leisa one night as a stray. He had a fractured jaw and was very thin and ill. After failing to find his owner, we adopted him (or rather he adopted us) and immediately made himself at home and put himself in charge.
His favourite hobbies are eating and walking on the keyboards!
